Terms of use
Updated 19 October 2026.
What the tools do
Paperstay provides free browser tools for cleaning signature images, filling and signing PDFs, combining pages, converting images to PDF and filling a PDF template from records. Placing a signature image does not verify anyone’s identity or create a certificate-based digital signature. Whether a document or signature is accepted depends on its purpose and the recipient’s requirements. No account or payment is required. Ratings, email requests and usage statistics are optional.
Your files and permissions
You keep your rights to your files and the content you add. Only use files, personal data and signatures that you are allowed to process. Do not use the tools to impersonate someone, forge consent, distribute malicious files or interfere with the service.
Check each result
Review the page order, text, dates, placement and signature in every exported document before sharing or relying on it. A preview and a successful download do not establish that a document is accurate, complete or legally suitable. Keep the original files.
Keep your own copies
Files are processed in your browser. Unsaved work can be lost when you close or reload the page. PDF templates are saved only when you choose to save them; keeping the source PDF is a separate choice. CSV records, batch values and signature images are not automatically saved. Browser storage can be cleared or become unavailable, and Paperstay cannot restore a local copy from a server.
Availability and responsibility
The tools have file, page and output limits and may change as errors are fixed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free results. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights or excludes responsibility that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes to these terms
The date above identifies this version. Changes will be published on this page. Check the terms again when you return to the service.
Questions and privacy
You can email Paperstay with questions about the service. The privacy notice explains document processing, browser storage, optional statistics, ratings and email requests.
